Location: 1 for Sh. Funadhoo Regional Airport, 2 for GDh. Maavarulu Regional Airport

*The selected candidates will be trained in Velana International Airport, Hulhule' before they start working in their respective Regional Airports.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 ‘C’ passes or above in O’ level (including English and Maths)
• An accredited Degree or Technical Diploma as well as Computer Literacy will be an added advantage.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Able to work on shift duty.
• Preference will be given to candidates from the same Island / Atoll or nearby regions as the selected candidates will be stationed at the Regional Airport.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct flight advisory and communications service to control the safe movement of aircraft and maintain a constant radiotelephone watch (on prescribed frequencies) for normal and emergency communications from aircraft in flight.
• Transmit and receive radiotelephone communication to and from aircraft on subjects such as Flight Safety, Weather Information and the Operational Status of Navigational-Aids, radio Navigational-Aids, airport and runway lights and telecommunications.
• Maintain arranged schedules; provide standby service for both ground and Air traffic while performing other general office routine and clerical duties.
