Qualifications:

• Certificate 4 in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 6 months working experience in this field.

• Knowledge of troubleshooting, materials, tools and equipment used in maintaining power distribution equipment.

• Able to work on shift duty.

• Computer Literacy and National Driving License in C1 Category will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Attend and work on all the electrical distribution equipment and related equipment in the VIA distribution network under the scope of PGD.

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical distribution equipment as per requirements to ensure that power plant work at the optimum levels.

• Receive fault report calls and take necessary actions.

• Respond to station alarms and resolve issues.

• Investigate equipment failures and faults to diagnose causes and take necessary actions.
