REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Project Accountant (Local) – Kulhudhuffushi Harbor Expansion Project

The Government of Maldives has applied for a grant from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the Kulhudhuffushi Harbor Expansion Project (the project) and intends to extend the deadline of submission of Expression of Interest for the subjected (Invitation Ref No. (IUL)13-K1/13/2016/124) till 1400 hours Maldivian Time of August 1, 2016.
The Ministry of Finance and Treasury wishes to contract a Project Accountant (Local) and will be recruited as part of the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the project. The project accountant will report directly to the Project Director of PMU.
The candidate should have a degree or equivalent in accounting or related field and have 5 years working experience in project finance. The candidate should have hands-on experience in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Words programs. Experience in working for international donor funded projects will be preferred.
Successful candidate will be paid an all-inclusive monthly fee up to MVR 30,840.00 by the project.The estimated duration of this consultancy is 26 calendar months.

The Ministry of Finance and Treasury now invites interested eligible individual consultants to submit their Expression of Interest (EoI). Interested candidates must provide a CV, including information that demonstrates their qualification to perform the services (description of similar assignments and experience in similar conditions, familiarity with appropriate skills, references etc).
The individual will be selected based on the qualification and experience, in accordance with the procedures set out in the Asian Development Bank’s The Use of Consultants under Asian Development Bank and Its Borrowers, March 2013.
Simultaneous to this invitation, a Consulting Services Recruitment Notice (CSRN) for this assignment is published on ADB's website. If online submission is preferred, interested individual may express their interest online through ADB's website www.adb.org under business opportunities section. The deadline for submission via ADB’s website is the same as below.
