COMMUNICATION OFFICER (CO)
The Government of the Republic of Maldives through the Ministry of Environment (ME) is implementing “Water Supply Systems” financed by Green Climate Fund (GCF) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the services of a full time Communication Officer (CO) to assist the water projects administered by the Ministry of Environment in collaboration with United Nations Development Project (UNDP).
The objective of this assignment includes setting up the communication strategy and framework of the project to ensure all the work carried out through the project including information and data collected in the field are captured, documented, analyzed and reported in a results-based and timely manner for the Government, Donors, UNDP and internal purposes smoothly and on time.
The Ministry of Environment and Energy now invites interested eligible individual consultants to submit their application letter, CV, including information that demonstrates their qualification to perform the services (description of similar assignments and experience in similar conditions, familiarity with appropriate skills, reference, education certificates and national identity card/passport copy etc).
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the position the individual is expected to demonstrate the requirements as per the attached ‘Terms of Reference”
Schedule for the Assignment
Duration of the assignment is 24 months from the commencement of the works with potential extension based on performance and need. The successful candidate is expected to commence the services in Feb 2019.
Renumeration
Successful individual will be paid an all-inclusive monthly fee of MVR 20,160 – 30,240 depending on education and experience
