Request for Expressions of Interest

The Government of Maldives has received Aid for the Enhancing Education Development Project (EEDP), administered by the World Bank and to be implemented by the Ministry of Education (MoE). Under the project, MoE will finance the improvement and/or expansion of schools across the country.

As part of this project MoE seeks a Specialist/Consultant to develop a Strategic Plan to guide implementation of Higher Education Master Plan which was developed under the EEDP project. Expressions of Interest need to be submitted along with the CV, reference letters, validated documents supporting the candidate’s qualification and experience, and the copy of ID card/Passport on or before 29^th March 2017, 13:00 pm for the following position. The applications would not be processed if validated documents supporting the candidate’s qualification and experience are not submitted.

Individual Consultant to develop a Strategic Plan for implementing Higher Education Master Plan

Objective:

The objective of this assignment is to develop a strategic plan to guide implementation of Higher Education Master Plan

Terms of Reference:

Duration of Service and Terms of Payment:

The service is for a period of one month or any other time frame agreed by both parties. The consultant will be hired as a Specialist/Consultant under the project. This is a lump sum contract, and will be paid on completion of the assignment outputs in accordance with the agreed rate.

Note: Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (January 2011).
