E-Government Service Trainer (Local)

INTRODUCTION

Ministry of Education (MoE) wishes to hire Two (2) energetic, self-motivated, organized and enthusiastic staff as ‘GEMS Rollout Trainer” for the “Island schools connectivity to the National Computer Network project”.

 

OBJECTIVES

The objective of the technicians is to work as team under the guidance of National Centre for Information Technology to complete the rollout of e-Services to the island schools and to provide the required training to the school staff and management.

 

DURATION

1 year

 

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manage and carryout all activities involved in the rollout of eGovernment  services and provide onsite support to end-users
  2. Arrange transportation to islands and travel to islands to rollout eGovernment service applications to organizations in the islands
  3. Prepare and manage process-based training materials, FAQ, training videos, user guides and other required documentations necessary to ensure that the rollout out process goes smoothly according to the procedures and guidelines set by NCIT. 
  4. Provide eGovernment service training to the staff and management of schools
  5. Maintain records of training programs, user accounts and meeting minutes according to the procedures and guidelines set by NCIT
  6. Conduct functional and quality testing eGovernment service applications.
  7. Troubleshoot and propose solutions to issues encountered in the eGovernment service applications. 
  8. Perform all other tasks or activities required to fulfill the contractual obligations including day-to-day administrative tasks, planning, exchanging correspondence, etc.

 

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

  • Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) or General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary-Level Exam with minimum “C” Grade in  3 subjects

 

ADDED ADVANTAGE

  • Previous work experience  in e-service rollout
  • Good skills in written and verbal communication in Dhivehi and English

REMUNERATION

MRF 15,000/-

 

NORMAL WORKING HOURS

Full time: 8:00am – 2:00pm
