Invitation for Bids

Supply of Mini Van

1. 1. State Electric Company Ltd (STELCO) wishes to re-tender the Supply of Mini Van due to the less response. STELCO invites sealed Bids from interested and eligible Bidders for the above mentioned tender.

1. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested and eligible Bidders from STELCO’s head office in Male’, on all working days between 09:00hrs to 15:00hrs, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of US$100.00 (United States Dollars Fifty only) or MVR 1542.00 (Fifteen Thousand Five Hundred and Forty two) in cash or telegraphic transfer directly to our head office. Overseas Bidders shall pay additional US$50.00 (United States Dollars Fifty only) if they require the documents to be delivered to their mailing address.

• Only Bidders who purchase the Bidding document can participate and thus the document is not transferable.

1. The Bid Validity shall be minimum Ninety (90) days from the date of Bid opening. All Bids shall be accompanied with a Bid Security of US$1,945.53 (United States Dollars One Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty Five / Cent Five Three only) or MVR 30,000.00 (Thirty Thousand Maldivian Rufiyaa only) which is valid for Thirty (30) days beyond the validity of the bid.

• STELCO shall not be liable for the misplacement or premature opening for the unlabeled sealed Bids.

Important Note:

• All necessary documents mentioned in ‘Terms and conditions’ in our website www.stelco.com.mv should be submitted.
•  It is in STELCO’s discretion to reject/cancel any quotation which does not fulfil or comply the above terms, at anytime during the quotation evaluation process. Also it is in STELCO’s discretion to cancel this request for quotation at anytime. 
• In a state under 8:01 of “Maaliayathu Gavaidhu -8:01- point 7”, bidder shall submit all the relevant documents mentioned in the clause “8:01 – point 7 with the bid document.                   

1. Bids shall be opened as mentioned in the schedule, at STELCO Head Office, 2^nd Floor meeting room, in the presence of those Bidders or Bidder’s representatives who wish to attend the session.
2. - Important Note: It is in STELCO’s discretion to reject/cancel any bid which does not fulfil or comply the above terms, at anytime during the bid evaluation process. Also it is in STELCO’s discretion to cancel this invitation to bid at any time.
