We are currently looking for an experienced and professional to fill the following post.

Post: Accountant

Role: Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for managing the full set of accounts and the full spectrum of accounting duties, which include the timely and accurate closing of accounts, submission of monthly financial reports, and preparation of yearly budgets. Additionally, you will compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts and document business transactions. It will be your responsibility to establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.

Profile: The ideal candidate will be highly independent with a solid knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. A degree in accounting or an equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA/CIMA or CPA (Replace with ‘affiliation’) with at least 3 years of experience is required. You should be a team player with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, able to meet tight deadlines, work flexible schedules, and maintain composure when working under pressure.

Remuneration package:

• Basic Salary: MVR 12800.00
• Fixed Allowance: MVR 3800.00
• Professional Allowance: 40% of Basic Salary
• Overtime & Extra Day – as per company policy.
• Pension Amount will be deducted according to the Employment Act.
