The Ministry of Islamic Affairs is seeking to establish a scholar pool to deliver sermons and religious awareness programs in Bengali language for 1 (one) year. The main objective of this pool is to spread the knowledge of Islamic Conduct and Islamic teachings through pool registered scholars to the Bangladeshi Muslims living in the Maldives.
500 (five hundred) Maldivian Rufiya will be given for each religious session presented in Bengali language and 1000 (one thousand) Maldivian Rufiya for each religious sermon translated in Bengali language.
The applicant must meet the following criteria to get registered in the pool.
(1) The person must belong to Sunni Muslims
(2) The person shall have attained at least a First Degree in religious studies from a University recognized by Islamic Ministry.
(3) The person must not have been found guilty in a Sharia Court of having violated any clause of Law 6/94, Religious Unity Act.
