Extension of the Registration Period for the “License to Operate Executive Lounges at MACL Noovilu Seaplane Terminal Building in VIA”
Reference is given to the Tender notice no 116-FB2/IL/2024/62 dated 18th February 2024 where Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) operating the Velana International Airport (VIA) expressed its wish to provide licenses to interested parties to operate the remaining “executive lounges” in the MACL Noovilu Seaplane Terminal Building (NSPT) of VIA by providing them with lounge spaces.
The initial Registration period for this Tender ended on 1400hrs of 03rd March 2024, Sunday. However, due to low response, the Registration period has been extended till 1245hrs of 21st March 2024, Thursday.
Interested parties shall Register in the bidding by an expression of interest (EOI) by post, fax or email ([email protected]) on or before 1245hrs of 21st March2024, Thursday. The registering party shall provide their full legal name, address and contact details in order to be registered. The Tender Document will be shared with all the Registered Parties via email upon Registration period end.
The interested parties shall be a resort operator. The bid submitting parties are required to furnish a Bid Security of USD 10,000 (or its equivalent in MVR) in accordance.
Bids in compliance with the details and requirements stated in the Tender Document shall be submitted to MACL on or before 1245hrs of 02nd April 2024, Tuesday. Late bids will be rejected.
The bid from each bidder will be opened at sharp 1245hrs on 02nd April 2024, Tuesday, in MACL Corporate Office Building at VIA, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives who choose to attend.
Evaluation of the bids will be performed after which MACL will deliberate and finalize the award.
