INVITATION FOR BIDS (THE “IFB”) FOR THE LEASE LAND PLOTS FOR DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, OPERATION, AND MANAGEMENT OF THE GUESTHOUSE IN THE M. KOLHUFUSHI TOURISM LAND

ANNOUNCEMENT

The Secretariat of Kolhufushi Island Council (“hereinafter referred to as the “Council”) invites eligible investors, (locals and foreign) to register their interest within 10 (ten) days, by submitting a letter to submit their interest to Design, Development, Operation, and Management of a tourist facility (Guesthouse) of 5000 Square Feet of Land allocated in     M. Kolhufushi Tourism Zone (hereinafter referred to as the “Land Plots”), total 14 (fourteen) Land Plots. (The LAGOON is attached as Annex I)

  1. Interested parties should register before 19th March 2024, at 13:30 hours, via Letter. The registration letter request shall be submitted via email to [email protected]. Only registered parties shall be allowed to purchase Bid Documents.
  2. Bid Documents will be available to purchase from the 21st   to 27th of March 2024, 09:00 hours to 1300 hrs. from the Secretariat M. kolhufushi Island Council.
  3. Information session will be held both physically and virtually on 20th March 2024,11:00 hours. The meeting link will be shared with the parties who registered.
  4. Bidders or their representatives must be present with sealed Bids 10 minutes before the start of the Bid opening session on 10th April 2024, 11:00, hours at the Secretariat of the M. Kolhufushi Island Council or any other venue that the Council may announce. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend the Bid Opening session.
  5. The Payment for Bidding Documents is non-refundable.
