Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) PLC, established in January 2004, is the only specialized housing finance institution in the Maldives. HDFC is a privatized company with International Shareholders represented by International Finance Corporation (IFC of World Bank Group), Asian Development Bank and HDFC Investments Ltd. of India, jointly holding 51% of shares. HDFC Plc has a vacancy for the right candidate who can provide support to the Finance Team of the company in the capacity of a Senior Accounts Officer.

Job Title:  SENIOR ACCOUNTS OFFICER

Job Description

• Manage cash counter in a most efficient and effective manner (Cash collections, PDCs and other transfers).
• Posting EMI payments, EMI deposits and Insurance deposits, verifying cash and cheques and issuing customer receipts
• Monitor register for salary deductions, standing orders and issue receipts for each transaction as and when it happens
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements
• Banking of cash and cheque deposits and carrying all forms, slips and other correspondences between the company and the banks, other institutions and customers.

Job Requirements

• A ‘Level with minimum 2 years of work experience or Diploma in Accounting / Business Management
• Good verbal and written communication skills (English & Dhivehi).
• Good analytical skills and possess eye for details and high level of accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office package or related accounting software.

Salary

• Negotiable commensurate with qualifications and experience
