MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT
• Degree in Social Science, Urban Planning, Community Development or any other relevant field.
• Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.

OVERALL SCOPE
Responsible for studying community needs, examining the social impacts of development, and assisting in the design of strategies to enhance the community.

SCOPE OF WORK
• Assist in the design and implementation of social planning strategies and initiatives to address community needs and improve social well-being.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis of emerging social issues within the Hulhumale' community to inform the planning and development of a cohesive and smart city.
• Assist in developing policies, guidelines, and regulations related to social planning and ensuring compliance with ethical and sustainable principles.
• Assist in formulating sustainable community programs.
• Monitor programs in relation to the corporation’s ethical, sustainable, environmental, and social responsibilities.
• Monitor and analyze social indicators and demographic trends to identify emerging needs and inform future planning efforts.
• Prepare reports to support effective advocacy, planning, and policy outcomes.
• Maintain proper, relevant documentation in an organized manner.

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
• Knowledge of local area planning, social and urban planning, laws and regulations, and population growth.
• Should be an effective communicator, both verbally and through writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Should be well organized, detail-oriented, forward thinking and proactive.
• Should be able to work as an individual and as a flexible team player.
• Should maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.

SALARY PACKAGE
Gross Salary of MVR 17,000.00
