Specialist in Marketing and Communications with Public Awareness and Advocacy Programs (individual) for the “Integrated Sustainable and Low Emission Transport in the Maldives”

The Ministry of Environment Climate Change and Technology has received funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) towards implementing the project “Integrated Sustainable and Low Emission Transport in the Maldives”,and intends to apply part of the proceeds to recruit a Specialist in Marketing and Communications with Public Awareness and Advocacy Programs who will be responsible to provide strategic direction for project’s communication strategy design for information dissemination and provide Public Awareness and Advocacy programs that will enable to maximize the usage of all the key outputs of the project.

The Ministry of Environment Climate Change and Technology invites interested eligible individuals to submit their application.

Eligibility Criteria

Details of the Eligibility Criteria, Scope of work, Remuneration and Duration of assignment can be found in the attached TOR of this advertisement.

Schedule for the Assignment

Duration of this of this assignment is 12 months, (with the possibility of extension for 6 months) for the date of commencement with a potential extension based on the performance and need. The successful candidate is expected to commence the services in June 2023.

Remuneration

Successful individual will be paid an all-inclusive monthly fee of MVR 20,160.00.

Documents to be submitted

-              Curriculum Vitae (clearly stating the starting and ending month for previous experiences)

-              Copy of National ID Card

-              Copies of higher degree Academic Certificates or transcripts

-              Letters of experience

-              Candidates currently working in the Civil Service should provide a letter of no objection from their current employer to release from the job.
