HDFC is a privatized company with International Shareholders represented by International Finance Corporation (IFC of World Bank Group), Asian Development Bank and HDFC Investments Ltd. of India, jointly holding 51% of shares.
HDFC Plc has a vacancy for the right candidate who can provide support to the Credit Team of the company in the capacity of a Senior Technical Officer.
Job Title: Senior Technical Officer
Job Description
- Perform planned and regular inspections on the buildings financed by HDFC and ensure structure's conformity with specifications in the approved drawings
- Inspect and report construction works in relation to HDFC Loans/facilities right from the beginning, and through the stages, and to completion of the building process.
- Check and review drawdown, work schedule and contractor agreements and ensure works are carried out in accordance with the company policies.
- Prepare relevant technical documentation and progress reports
- Assist in the Customer Credit Evaluation Process by reviewing “bill of quantities” (BOQs) received with the loan application, and reporting the findings to the Credit Committee
- Prepare and present monthly technical reports to the management
- Conduct market survey to understand prevailing land rates
Job Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar field
- Able to prepare valuation reports
- Familiar with existing Building terms and regulations in Maldives
- Competent with General Office Software
