Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) PLC, established in January 2004, is the only specialized housing finance institution in the Maldives. HDFC is a privatized company with International Shareholders represented by International Finance Corporation (IFC of World Bank Group), Asian Development Bank and HDFC Investments Ltd. of India, jointly holding 51% of shares. HDFC has a vacancy for the right candidate who can provide support to the Admin Team of the company in the capacity of an Assistant Manager – Business Development & Marketing.

Job Title:  Assistant Manager – BD & Marketing

Career Level: Operational

Job Type: Full-Time

Term of Contract: 12 months (Renewal subject to performance review)

Job Description

  • Assist to develop marketing strategies
  • Organize marketing activities and events
  • Prepare content for marketing materials
  • Plan advertising and promotional campaigns for HDFC products and services
  • Assist in preparing marketing budget and monitor marketing expenses
  • Manage HDFC’s social media channels including engagement, postings and analytics
  • Coordinate with other institutions to promote HDFC products / schemes
  • Act as a focal point to End-User financing projects
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for promotion and growth

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing / Business Management / Business Administration
  • Excellent Communication skills (English & Dhivehi)
  • Good Writing & Reporting Skills
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Competent with General Office Software

Salary

  • Negotiable commensurate with qualifications and experience
