ASSISTANT RAMP OFFICER

POSITION: ASSISTANT RAMP OFFICER

Requirement / Qualifications:

  • Completed GCE O Level with minimum 3 passes including English
  • Possess a valid Driving License.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular meeting (briefing) with shift duty staff and assign manpower to carry out different tasks.
  • Perform marshalling activities on the apron directing, assisting, and designate parking spaces for aircrafts.
  • Responsible for ensuring cautious, prompt, accurate and careful handling of customer’s baggage, freight, and mail, etc.
  • Ensure turnaround time is met and tasks are completed within the turnaround time.
  • Provide GSE service to aircrafts and maintain proper records and forward the details to concerned sections and units including finance for invoicing.
  • Responsible for providing and ensuring the availability of serviceable Ground Support Vehicles and equipment for providing ground handling service to aircrafts.
  • Ensure cargo is transported to and from the cargo warehouse and from the aircraft.
  • Keep all the keys of vehicles/equipment under supervision.
  • Provide secure and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) free parking space for aircrafts.
  • Ensure all daily checks are carried out on ground support vehicles and equipment by drivers and check the records.
  • Acquire flight and passenger information from Airlines, Operators and Handling Agents.
  • Prepare DFI (Daily Flight Information) based on the figures received.
  • Strictly comply with all relevant company Standard Operating Procedure (SOP’s), work instructions and Civil Aviation Standards and Regulatory Requirements
  • Perform all other duties related to the job as assigned by the management.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

  • Must have the ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication skill
