MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

• Master’s Degree in relevant field with minimum 2 years’ experience in relevant field.

• A current registration or must be registered with the Maldives Allied Health Council to work as a psychologist.
• Interest in working with children with disabilities and their families

SCOPE OF WORK

• Provides culturally informed assessment, case management, and goal-oriented, short-term interventions for children with developmental delays and their families.
• Your responsibilities will include the administration and scoring of psychometric assessments (e.g. WISC-V, Stanford Binet), psychometric report writing, individual therapy and group therapy. You will be supported in administering and scoring assessments as required and participate in weekly supervision team meetings. 
• Meets ethical obligations for timely documentation of treatment services. Engages in intervention related activities including maintaining therapy records, administering and interpreting psychological tests/inventories, making referrals, and managing various organizational and administrative aspects of cases
• Develop individualize treatment plan for each child
• Educate family members on that they can do for their child or how to respond to certain behaviors.
• Coordinate and work as part of multidisciplinary teams made up of pediatricians, psychiatrists, social workers, SEN teachers, and family members
• Present at conferences, meetings, or events; providing agency in-service training; and providing consultation to stakeholder agencies.

SALARY PACKAGE:

Basic Salary: MVR 7035.00

Service Allowance: MVR 2500.00

Risk Allowance: MVR 100.00 per day attended
