HDFC Plc has a vacancy for the right candidate who can provide support to the Finance Team of the company in the capacity of Assistant Manager - Finance.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the functional affairs of the finance department including, but not limited to:

• Monitoring monthly closings and ensuring that closings are completed before 10th of every month
• Prepare management accounts periodically
• Prepare financial statements (interim and annual) in accordance with the IFRS
• Ensure filing of tax returns accordingly
• Ensure submission of compliance reports including publication of regulatory reports
• Assist the finance team to manage finance department in a most efficient and effective manner including effective implementation of ERP
• Assist head of finance to prepare the company’s Business Plan and Budget

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate should possess a minimum qualification of Degree in Accounting and/or part qualification of ACCA or a similar professional accounting body
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a similar field
• Proficient in verbal and written communication both in Dhivehi and English
• Must be reliable, dependable, eye for detail and be able thrive under pressure
