Introduction:

The Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology at The Maldives National University wishes to hire one (1) energetic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic Prototyping Assistant for the project on “Development of a Coastal Surveillance Airship to Monitor and Control the EEZ”.

Designation:

Prototyping Assistant

Duration:

10 months

Hours per week:

10 hours

Salary Per month:

3000/-

Responsibilities:

• Build prototype of design as directed.
• Test prototypes for functionality.
• Clean prototyping space before and after using.
• Maintain inventory and workstations in the space.
• Ensure lab safety through proper use of tools.
• Assist students in building their undergraduate project prototypes.

Deliverables:

• A working prototype

Required qualifications:

• Diploma in relevant field or student enrolled in Diploma or Degree program.
• Basic computing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Added advantages:

• Hands-on experience in prototype design, fabrication, and assembly
• Experience in hardware design.
