Request for Expressions of Interest
Civil Engineer (CE)
The Government of the Republic of Maldives through the Ministry of Environment (ME) is implementing “Water Supply Systems” financed by Green Climate Fund (GCF) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the services of one (01) full time Civil Engineers (CE) to acquire technical support for the development and implementation of water supply system administered by the Ministry of Environment in collaboration with United Nations Development Project (UNDP).
The objective of this assignment includes providing technical/ engineering assistance and input where necessary to the development and implementation of water supply projects administered by the Ministry of Environment.
The Ministry of Environment and Energy now invites interested eligible individual consultants to submit their application letter, CV, including information that demonstrates their qualification to perform the services (description of similar assignments and experience in similar conditions, familiarity with appropriate skills, reference, education certificates and national identity card/passport copy etc).
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the position the individual is expected to demonstrate the requirements as per the attached ‘Terms of Reference”

Schedule for the Assignment
Duration of the assignment is 12 months from the commencement of the works with potential extension based on performance and need. The successful candidate is expected to commence the services in November 2019.
Renumeration
Successful individual will be paid an all-inclusive monthly fee of MVR 19,800-22,770 depending on experience and qualification.

The expressions of interest must be submitted to the address below (in person to the ministries reception or by email) no later than 1200 hours on 17th October 2019. Submissions submitted by hard copy should state the Job title, Iulaan number, Address in this advertisement, and the submission deadline of the advertisement. Emails submissions should have the name of the applicant and the job tile in the Subject of the email. The ministry will send a confirmation of receipt via email.
