INVITATION FOR BIDS

Supply and Installation of RTP Tanks for the Upgrade Works of the Water Supply Facility at S. Hithadhoo                                                                           

The Government of the Republic of Maldives has allocated funds towards the cost of Supply and Installation of RTP tanks for the Upgrade Works of the Water Supply Facility at S. Hithadhoo. The Ministry of Environment and Energy cancel the call for advertisement Number (IUL)438-OFID/1/2018/42 due to changes in advertisement and now invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders to Supply and Installation RTP Tanks for the Upgrade Works of the Water Supply Facility at for the Upgrade Works of the Water Supply Facility S. Hithadhoo in accordance with the specifications in the Bidding Document.

International competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with the National Tender Board’s Single Stage One envelope bidding procedure. Qualifications requirements are stated in the Bidding Document.

Bid Registration

The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon submission of a written application to the address below not later than 1300 hours on October 23, 2018. A complete set of the Bidding Documents in electronic format shall be available for download from Ministry of Environment and Energy website www.environment.gov.mv.

Pre-bid Meeting

A pre-bid meeting will be held on October 18, 2018, Thursday at 10:30 hours Maldivian time at the Ministry of Environment and Energy

Bid Clarification

Any clarifications to the bid may be sent to  below given mail addresses on or before October 23, 2018 at 1300 hours.

Bid Security, Performance Security and Advance Payment 

The Bidder shall furnish a Bid Security of MVR 8,000 which shall be valid for 28 days beyond the validity of the Bid. The Amount of Performance Security required under the contract shall be 5% of the Contract Price. An Advance Payment of 15% of the contract price shall be provided upon submission of an Advance Payment Guarantee.

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids Shall be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of Bid of Opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Environment and Energy at the address specified in the clause 9 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 1030 hours, Maldivian time on October 30, 2018 at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
