INVITATION FOR BIDS

1- The Ministry of Finance and Treasury, on behalf of Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure (the Employer), invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the following works.

2- The bidder shall be a listed member of the National Contractors Registry and shall satisfy the grades specified in clause 1 of this Invitation for Bids in order to be eligible to participate for the respective tender.

3- The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid upon payment of a non-refundable Registration fee of MVR 1,500.00 (Maldivian Rufiyaa One Thousand Five Hundred) per tender from14^th June 2015 to 30^th June 2015 between 0830hrs and 1430hrs (in month of ramadan 10:00hrs and 13:00hrs)on all working days. A complete set of bidding documents in electronic format shall be available for download from the Ministry of Finance and Treasury website www.finance.gov.mv

4- The Bidder shall submit documentary evidence of no due payment to the Government of Maldives (Tax Clearance Report), obtained from Maldives Inland Revenue Authority. This document shall be dated no earlier than 5 (Five) days prior to the bid submission date.

5- The Bidder shall furnish a bid security of the amount specified in clause 1 of this Invitation for Bids which shall be valid for 28 days beyond the validity of the Bid. The amount of performance security shall be 5% of contract price. An advance payment of 15% of contract price will be provided upon submission of an advance payment guarantee.

6- A pre-bid meeting will be held on 28^th June 2015 at 1300 hrs Maldivian time at the Tender Evaluation Section Meeting Room of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury.

7- Bids shall be valid for a period of 91 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified in Clause 8 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 1300 hrs Maldivian Time on 09^th July 2015, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
