INVITATION FOR BIDS
Subject: Design and Build Basis for Water Supply Network, Water Storage Tanks and Reverse Osmosis Plant and Allied Works based on Integrated Water Resources Management approach in Adh.Dhagethi, Maldives.
1. The Government of Maldives, represented by Ministry of Finance and Treasury (MOFT), cancels the Invitation No: (IUL) 13-K1/13/2015/88, due to clerical errors.
2. The Government of Republic of Maldives has allocated funds in the PSIP Budget 2015 towards the cost of infrastructure development on Adh.Dhagethi and intends to apply this allocation under the contract, Design and Build Basis for Water Supply Network, Water Storage Tanks and Reverse Osmosis Plant and Allied Works based on Integrated Water Resources Management approach in Adh.Dhagethi , Maldives.3. The Government of Maldives, represented by Ministry of Finance and Treasury (MOFT) on behalf of the Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEE), now re-invites sealed bids from the eligible bidders for the works given above.
4. The Interested consultants shall submit documentary evidence (No Due Report) of no due payment to the Government of Maldives, obtained from Maldives Inland Revenue Authority along with the proposal. This document shall be dated no earlier than 5 (Five) days prior to the proposal submission date.
5. Only listed members of the National Contractors Registry will be eligible to participate in this tender. Only the contractors who has been qualified for the UC03, Grade 1 , 2 & 3 will be eligible to participate for this tender.6. Tender Documents may be obtained from Tender Evaluation Section of Ministry of Finance and Treasury, from 9th April 2015 to 23rd April 2015 between 0830 hrs and 1430 hrs on all working days, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MVR 1500.00 (One Thousand Five Hundred).

8. The Bidder shall furnish a bid security of amount Maldivian Rufiyaa 75,000.00 (Seventy Five Thousand Rufiya)which shall be valid for 28 days beyond the validity of the Bid. The amount of performance security shall be 5% of contract price. An advance payment of 15% of contract price will be provided upon submission of an advance payment guarantee.
9. Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to Ministry of Finance and Treasury at the address specified above in Clause 5 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 1100 hrs Maldivian time on 12th May 2015 (Tuesday), at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend.
