INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)            

Sanitation Project in Five Islands – Recruitment of Accountant/Financial Management Specialist.

The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received financing from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) for Sanitation Project in Five Islands, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the following services of an Accountant/Financial Management Specialist to provide oversight and financial management of the project.

The Ministry of Environment and Energy (MEE) of the Government of Maldives is undertaking improving access to Safe Water and Sanitation in the islands. The objective of this assignment is to provide oversight and financial management of the project with the responsibility for ensuring compliance with the Islamic Development Bank Guidelines.

The Ministry of Environment and Energy, now invites interested eligible Individual National Candidate from Civil Service to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI).The submission should include the following set of documentation.

1. Letter of Expression of Interest (EOI)  

2. A brief summary that demonstrates that the applicant is qualified to perform the services (including description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills etc,)

3. Copy of National Identification Card

4. Attested copies of Educational Certificates (copies taken from with accredited original certificates)

Interested candidates may obtain further information on the Terms Of Reference (TOR) for the consulting services will be available on the Ministry’s website www.environment.gov.mv.
