Tenderers are hereby invited by State Trading Organization Plc. of the Republic of Maldives, for Construction of STO Vehicle Repair Workshop Phase 1 as per Drawings, BOQ and specifications.
1. Project Overview:
Construction of Vehicle Repair Workshop Project consists mainly of the works below:
- Reinforced Concrete
- Steel Fabrication and Installation
- Ground Works
- Masonry and plastering
- Doors and Windows
- Roofing works
- Electrical and Plumbing
- AC installation
- Finishing
- Fire Fighting Equipment
- Overhead Crane
2. Eligible Tenderers are limited to;
Parties that have successfully completed at least 2 (Two) Concrete and Steel Building Construction projects, valued over MVR 500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand Maldivian Rufiyaa), in the last 10 (Ten) years.
- Project completion will be validated only by reference letters / completion certificates, issued to the bidder by the respective client, for successful completion of Concrete and Steel Building Construction works.
- Each Reference letter / completion certificate shall be accompanied by the project data sheet in Annexure I.
- Documents received ONLY in the name of the project owner (companies’/ government entities/institutions/commissions etc.) will be considered and documents in the name of individual members/consultants will not be considered.
- The Bidder shall assist for inspection of the proposed completed projects if proof of completion is not submitted with reference letters and provide pictures/ visuals and make necessary arrangements for further inspection upon STO’s request.
- STO shall inspect and assess the quality of work before accepting/rejecting the proposed reference letter / completion certificate for a completed project.
- Tenderers shall also submit proof of completion / reference letters for works under the Project Overview, along with the visuals of the project.
- Only the tenderers who meet the eligibility criteria shall be registered under this tender.
3. Tendering Process.

Registration and Bid Document: |
Tenderers can register via email, [email protected] Documents required for registration:
Deadline for Registration is 14th July 2021, 1400hrs. A complete set of Bidding Document in English shall be sent via e-mail on the 14th July 2021, only to the parties who have registered under the tender. |

Pre-bid Conference/Site visit: |
Pre-bid conference/Site visit will be held for the registered parties at STO Vehicle Repair Workshop on 15th July 2021, 1100hrs. |

Questions and Replies: |
Questions shall be type-written in English and shall be sent via email to the address specified below. Deadline for queries is 22nd July 2021, 1400hrs. Replies to questions will be given on 25th July 2021, to all those who have successfully registered under this tender |
