Bid submitted for “Implementation of High Impact Community Development Projects (HICDPs) for the Enhancement of Agriculture Support Services and Community Linkages required for the Development of Agriculture Sector Project” (IUL)30/30/2020/111 exceeds budget allocation and with limited number of bids received for the tender.

INVITATION FOR BIDS

The Republic of Maldives has received financing from the Indian Grant Assistance for Implementation of High Impact Community Development Projects (HICDPs) for the Enhancement of Agriculture Support Services and Community Linkages required for the Development of Agriculture Sector Project. The Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture (“the Employer”), invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the following works.

1. Only Maldivian and Indian Bidders (firms) are eligible to bid for these tenders.
2. International Competitive Budding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with the procedures specified in the Qualification’s requirements stated in the bidding Document.

a)   Interested Bidders shall register with the Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture, before 1300 Hours Maldivian Time on Thursday, 15^th July 2021. The Bidder shall be registered by electronic mail, the following information:

• Name and Address of the Bidder
• Name, Email address and contact number of the Contact Person (S)

1. A complete set of bidding documents and related documentation shall be available on the Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture website (http://www.fishagri.gov.mv/) for downloading. The Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture shall not be held liable for any information not received by the Bidder, and it is the Bidder’s responsibility to verify the website for the latest information related to this invitation for bid.
2. Any clarifications to the project may be sent to the address in Clause 4 of this invitation for bids on or before 1400 Hours Maldivian Time on Sunday 2^nd August 2021.
3. The Bidder shall furnish a Bid Security for each of the project for the amount specified in clause 1 of this Invitation. The Bid security shall be valid for 60 days from the date of bid opening.
4. Bids shall be valid for a period of 60 days from the date of bid opening and shall be sealed and delivered to the Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture at the address specified in Clause 4 of this Invitation for Bids, on or before 1100 hours Maldivian Time on 11^th August 2021, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
