INVITATION FOR BIDS
(Consultancy Service to assessing groundwater resources and design of aquifer recharge systems in selected 12 islands of Maldives (GCF Project)
Previous announcement, Ref No: (IUL)438-GCF/438/2021/88 dated 25thMarch 2021, we would like to cancel the previous announcement and re-invite interested eligible consultants to submit their Proposals.
The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Environment (MoEnv) has received financing from the Green Climate Fund (GCF) for the project to Support vulnerable communities in Maldives to manage climate change-induced water shortages, and intends to apply portion of the financing for eligible payments under the contract for the project “[Consultancy Service for assessing groundwater resources and design of aquifer recharge systems in selected 12 islands of Maldives] “. The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this project.
A complete set of the bidding documents and related documentation is attached to this Advertisement and also available on the Ministry of Environment website www.environment.gov.mv for downloading free of cost. The Employer shall not be liable for any information not received by the Bidder. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to verify the website for the latest information related to this bid.
Bid Registration
Interested Bidders shall register with the Ministry of Environment via the application form attached to the Advertisement and is available at Ministry website www.environment.gov.mv and shall mail to the email address [email protected] not later than 1200 hours on 15th April 2021.
Bid Security
The Bidder shall furnish a bid security which shall be valid for 90 days from the date of bid opening and in the amount of Maldivian Rufiyaa 16,000.00
Bid Validity and Bid Opening
Bids shall be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of bid opening and shall be delivered to the Ministry of Environment at the address given below, on or before 1100 Maldivian Time on 21st April 2021 at which time they will be opened in the presence of the bidders who submitted the bid. Late bids will be rejected.
