The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received financing from International Development Association, the World Bank towards implementing Maldives Clean Environment Project, and intends to apply part of the proceed for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Pilot Systems for Bio-treatment of Organic Waste (Mechanical Composting) in 9 selected islands within Zones 2, 4 & 5.
The Ministry of Environment (the Purchaser), invites bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply, Installation and Commissioning of Pilot Systems for Bio-treatment of Organic Waste (Mechanical Composting) in 9 selected islands.
The Bidder shall be registered to submit a bid. Registration will be from the date of advertisement until 14:00 hrs of April 22, 2021 via email stating the project name, Invitation number, Company name, Company registration number and contact details.
The Bidder shall furnish a bid Security of USD 3000.00 (USD Three Thousand or equivalent amount in Maldivian Rufiyaa). Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 days from the date of bid opening.
Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers under Investment Project Financing”, dated July 1, 2016, setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
Any Clarifications regarding this tender may be sent to the address below on or before 14:00 hrs of Thursday, April 22, 2021.
Bids shall be delivered to the address specified below, on or before Wednesday 1100 hours Maldivian Time on 05th May 2021, at which time they will be opened in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend the bid opening. Late bids will be rejected.
