Hiring a Ecommerce Website developer

State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) request sealed quotations from interested and eligible parties

to find an external party to develop an online retail application for our sales center . This request for Quotation is open for all companies registered under the Maldivian Law and individual citizens with caliber and capacity to take on the task.

A pre-bid meeting shall be held on Wednesday, 20^th January 2021 at 11:00 hrs. at STELCO Head Office, 2nd floor meeting room

Quotation Evaluation Criteria:

Approved bids shall be evaluated on the following basis. Points (Pts) shall be given according to the formula below.

Price:                                   60pts [(Minimum Quoted Price) / (Quoted Price) x 60].

Duration:                         30pts [(Lowest Duration) / (Submitted Duration) x 30].

Experience:                     10pts (Shall submit reference letters for similar project carried out within the   past five years - 5 points will be awarded for each).

TOTAL POINTS EARNED Maximum 100 Pts.

The quotations shall be submitted in sealed envelope and addressed as follows:

All sealed quotations shall reach STELCO head office on or before Monday, 25^th January 2021 at 11:00 hrs. Any quotation(s) received after this deadline shall be disqualified.

STELCO shall not be liable for the misplacement or premature opening for the unlabeled sealed quotations.

Quotation Opening:

Quotation shall be opened on Monday, 25^th January 2021 at 11:00 hrs. in STELCO Head Office / 2^nd floor meeting room, in the presence of those parties or their representatives who wish to attend the session.

Important Note:

It is in STELCO’s discretion to reject/cancel any quotation, which does not fulfil or comply the above terms, at any time during the quotation evaluation process. In addition, it is in STELCO’s discretion to cancel this request for quotation at any time. 

With reference to the Clause 12.05 of “Maaliayathu Gavaidhu” bidders providing goods or services to STELCO must submit supporting document along with the bid if they have a business or blood relationship with STELCO executives. If STELCO identifies that, the bidder did not submit the relevant documents then the STELCO has the right to void the bid.
