Request for Expressions of Interest

 

Local Consultant (individual) to provide technical support to the development of TOR for Establishing an E-Learning Platform and supervision of its development process in Maldives Polytechnic

 

The Government of Maldives (GoM) implementing the “Maldives: Enhancing Employability and Resilience of Youth (MEERY)” Project. The project is funded by the World Bank. The objective of the project is to improve the relevance of technical and vocational skills and foster entrepreneurship to promote youth employment in priority sectors. The project is being administered by the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), with a Project Steering Committee that will be co-chaired by the MoHE and the Ministry of Economic Development.

 

As part of this project MoHE seeks an Individual to carry out the Consultancy to provide technical support to the development of TOR for Establishing an E-Learning Platform and supervision of its development process in Maldives Polytechnic.

 

Information session

A virtual information session will be held on25th October 2020 (Sunday) 11:00 am. Interested individuals may participate in the virtual information session by registering via e-mail to the address below before 18:00 hours 24th October 2020. The email should include full name, contact number and email. The subject must be clearly stated in the email as; “To register to participate in the information session” or intent must be clearly stated. The virtual meeting link will be sent to the registered participants latest by 10:00 am on 25th October 2020

 

Submission of Expressions of Interest

Expressions of Interest need to be submitted to the below email along with the CV(s), reference letter, validated documents supporting the candidate’s qualifications and experience as per Term of Reference on or before 14:00 pm, 1st November 2020. Late submissions will not be accepted.

  • Note: Consulting services will be selected in accordance with the ‘World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers’ Procurement in Investment Project Financing- Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, July 2016 Revised November 2017 and August 2018 introduced by the Bank under the Procurement Framework (hereafter referred to as the “Regulations”).
