1. The Government of the Republic of Maldives through Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the “Maldives Urban Development and Resilience Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Office Equipment and Furniture.
2. The Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of Office Equipment and Furniture. The delivery period is 60 to 90 days from the date of contract signing.

3. Bidding will be conducted through Open National Competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” -Procurement in Investment Project Financing Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services, July 2016 Revised November 2017 and August 2018. (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
Bidders may Bid for one or several contracts, as further defined in the request for bids document. Bidders wishing to offer discounts in case they are awarded more than one contract will be allowed to do so, provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure, during office hours [08:30 am to 1400] at the address given below.
5. The Request for Bid (RFB) for the assignment can be found at the following website: https://planning.gov.mv/ or can be obtained at the address given below.
6. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of MVR 5000/-. Bid Security Shall be valid for 119 days.
7. The Bids should be submitted to the address below no later than 11:00hrs hours on 10th August 2020.
