STRENGTHENING GENDER INCLUSIVE INITIATIVES (SGII) PROJECT

The Ministry of Health, Family and Welfare is implementing the Strengthening Gender Inclusive Initiatives (SGII) Project funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB) to support the government of Maldives to strengthen gender-responsive processes, practices, and increase access to sustainable support services for elderly, children and survivors of Domestic Violence and Gender Based Violence at central and decentralized levels.

The objective of this assignment

 The Ministry of Health, Family and Welfare is seeking to hire a Safeguards Consultant who will support the Project Management Unit (PMU) in ensuring compliance with the Environmental and Social Safeguards, in accordance with ADB’s Safeguard Policy Statement 2009, government rules and regulations, and project documents.

Contract Duration and commencement

 Successful candidates will be contracted for a period of 1 (one) year, with potential renewal of contract based on performance and organizational needs up to the total duration of the project. This contract is expected to commence in November 2026.

 Submission Deadline

3. CV including information that demonstrates that the candidate is qualified to undertake the scope of work.
