Introduction
Male’ Water & Sewerage Company Pvt Ltd (MWSC) invites interested and qualified tenderers to submit proposals for the “Installation of Dark Fiber Link between RO Annex and Borehole Office”
Interested tenderers are requested to review the attached Scope of Work & Bill of Materials for the detailed scope of work and requirements, and to follow the schedule below to complete the registration process and proposal submission process.
Scope of Work
The selected vendor shall provide end-to-end supply, installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of the dark fiber link between RO Annex and Borehole Office, associated HPE Aruba switching equipment, UPS and fiber termination work in accordance with the Bill of Material & Requirements.
Qualification Requirements
Interested and qualified vendors wishing to undertake this project shall meet the following requirements and submit the relevant supporting documents:
- Any single firm, company, partnership, or other legal entity registered in the Republic of Maldives, with 100% Maldivian shareholding.
- Business Registration Certificate at Economic Ministry
- GST Registration Certificate
- Company Business Information Sheet (Economic Ministry), Generated within 1 month from the Bid submission deadline
- MIRA Tax Clearance Report (past 6 months from the date of bid submission).
- Manufacturer authorization letter/certificate (Authorized Partner or Distributor for HPE Aruba products and services and shall submit a Manufacturer’s Authorization Letter (MAL) referring
to the project reference number).
- Experience Reference Letters or Completion Certificates (The bidder shall provide at least two (2) project references for the successful implementation of similar network and fiber projects within the past three (3) years, each valued above MVR 170,000.00. References shall include at least two (2) HPE Aruba network projects, supported by letters, purchase orders, contracts or completion certificates with verifiable client contacts.
Registration Process
Interested tenderers are required to register for the tender through the link Bidder Registration between 14th October 2026 to 18th October 2026. Further information and a soft copy of the tender documents will be shared with the registered tenderers on 19th October 2026.

Bid Security & Performance Guarantee
Each vendor must furnish a bid security in the amount of MVR 5,000/-, The successful vendor must furnish to the Employer a performance Bank Guarantee in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Contract sum within Fourteen (14) days of receipt of the notification of award from the Employer.
