Introduction

Male’ Water & Sewerage Company Pvt Ltd (MWSC) invites interested and qualified vendors to submit proposals for the “Docking and Servicing MWSC Marine 4”

Interested vendors are requested to review the attached Terms of Reference (TOR) for the detailed scope of work and requirements, and to follow the schedule below to complete the registration process and proposal submission process.

Scope of Work

• Docking and General Services.
• Hull Cleaning
• Hull Inspection
• Surface Preparation and Hull painting
• Hull & Structure Repair
• Storage Hatches Repair
• Fabricate Bollards
• Bunker Tank Modification
• Fresh Water Tank Modification
• Engine Room Repairs
• Main Engine Overhauling 
• Main Generator Overhauling 
• Inspection, servicing, maintenance, and necessary repair/replacement of components related to Propulsion System Propeller, Shafting System, Rudder System, Sea Chests, Seawater Valves & Sea Trial and Commissioning

Qualification, Preliminary & Technical Requirements

Interested and competent vendors must meet the following preliminary requirements and provide the required documents, as applicable:

• Business Registration Certificate at Economic Ministry
• Mira Tax Clearance (within 6 months from the bid submission deadline)
• GST Registration
• Company Business Information Sheet (Economic Ministry), Generated within 1 month from the Bid submission deadline 
• The vendor must have their own dockyard or must have a valid agreement with a dockyard to use the dockyard and its facilities.
• Vendor must have been in service of docking for at least 5 years.
• Vendor must provide MWSC officials access to dockyard at any time for inspections.
• Vendor must take responsibility for any damages caused to any of our vessels, staffs or equipment due to vendor’s negligence or carelessness.
• Vendor must possess all equipment’s and machineries required to attend the repair works mentioned in the scope of work.

           a)      Fiber Gel

           b)      Winches or equivalent safety equipment to slip the vessels

           c)      Carpentry for wood works spraying and applying equipements

           d)      Generators to Power up the vessel

           e)      Balloons for slipping the vessel

           f)       Excavator

           g)      Material Fabrication services

• While painting the following coating must be applied.

           a)      Primer red oxide – 2 Coats

           b)      Anti-fouling – 2 Coats

           c)      Finishing Gel -  2 Coats (Light Blue)

• Colour codes to apply for the finishing paint layer will be selected by MWSC.

Registration Process

Interested vendors wishing to participate in this tender shall complete the registration form via the link provided below. The registration period shall commence on 26^th August 2026 and close on 29^th August 2026. Tender documents will be emailed to registered participants on 30^th August 2026 to the email address provided in the registration form.

Tender Schedule

Bid Security & Performance Guarantee

Each Service provider shall furnish a bid security in the amount of MVR 10,000/-. Successful service provider shall furnish to the Employer a performance Bank Guarantee in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Contract sum within Fourteen (14) days of receipt of the notification of award from the Employer.
