State Trading Organization Plc. (STO) invites proposals from tax agents registered with the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) and audit firms eligible to provide tax consultancy services in the Maldives. for a period of one (1) year.
1. The Eligible Tenderers are limited to;
1.1 The registered tax agent shall be registered with the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) and hold a recognized professional accounting qualification, such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CIMA.
1.2 If the applicant is an audit firm, it shall demonstrate a proven track record in providing tax advisory and consultancy services within the Maldives.
1.3 The applicant shall have a minimum of three (03) years of proven experience in providing tax consultancy and advisory services. The applicant shall demonstrate experience in advising corporate entities on matters relating to the Maldives tax regime, including but not limited to Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Goods and Services Tax (GST), Non-resident Withholding Tax (NWT), Employee Withholding Tax (EWT), tax compliance, tax planning, tax audits, and tax dispute resolution.
1.4 STO reserves the right to reject reference letters issued by companies that are blacklisted by STO and if STO confirms that a party registering is blacklisted by STO, or is affiliated with a blacklisted party, STO reserves the right to deny registration to that party.
1.5 If STO ascertains that the reference letters are forged or fabricated for work not actually performed, STO reserves the right, under this announcement, to deny registration to that party.
1.6 The applicant must not be a Blacklisted / Default/ Legal Customer of State Trading Organization Plc. or any subsidiaries of State Trading Organization Plc.

• Client-issued reference Letter to verify the active engagement of tax consultancy and advisory services. ( If the applicant is an Audit firm )
ONLY Eligible Tenderers can register and participate in the tender.
A complete set of Bidding Document in English will be sent via email only to the parties who have successfully registered and are eligible under the tender. |
