We are seeking to recruit talented and Qualified Nursing Health Professionals to work in hospitals/health centers which is under ministry of Health, family and welfare in Maldives.

Required number of health professionals

• Registered Nurse

Minimum Criteria and Qualification:  

• Registered Nurse:
• Bachelor’s Degree Qualification in nursing recognized by Maldives Nursing and Midwifery Council.
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience in General Nursing / Midwife in a hospital with 150 or more beds within the past 2 years is required.
• Permanent Basic registration certificate from local Nursing Council of the candidate.
• IELTS (general: Overall score 5.5 and above) or OET (C and above) of 2 years validity.
• Age:  Below 35 years

• Nursing Qualification (Bachelor of science (BSC) in nursing)
• Mark Sheet
• Academic Transcript
• Passport Copy
• IELTS (5.5 and above /OET (C and Above)) 2 Years Validity
• Country Registration
• 2 years of work Experience (General Nursing / midwife)
• Goods Standing and Verification (must be submitted after selection for the interview)
• Police Clearance Certificate (03 Months Validity)

 Other Information  

• Medical Benefits: ministry of Health, family and welfare will bear the cost of premium for enrolment in a health insurance scheme as decided by MOH. 
• Visa: Visa fees will only be paid to the employee. 
• Police Clearance Certificate: All candidates must have the police clearance certificate (Minimum 3 months’ validity) upon signing the contract

Special Note:

Interested registered agencies are invited to submit their applications. Please note that no recruitment fees or charges shall be incurred for services provided to the Ministry of Health, Family and Welfare.

Candidates with a valid registration and license from the Maldives Nursing and Midwifery Council will have an added advantage.

Candidates must submit a Good Standing Certificate and verification documents within 72 hours upon being selected for the interview.

Employees selected for the post of Registered Nurse under Advertisement No. (IUL)23-HRD(FRS)/23/2026/155 will be assessed for the required experience during the probation period. Employment may be terminated if performance and competencies are not up to the required standard.

Any misinformation provided in the application form will result in rejection at the pre-evaluation stage. For example, when calculating work experience, the Ministry of Health, Family and Welfare will only consider experience gained after graduation and registration from a recognized institution. Recommendation letters and internships will not be considered valid work experience. Therefore, if such documents are listed as experience in the application form, the application will be rejected during the pre-evaluation process.

• Registered agencies must submit the documents specified for each category in the google form any document submitted otherwise will be disregarded.
