Senior Consultant Specialist – Hematology (Contract | Foreign Nationals)

Maldivian Blood Services (MBS), under the Malé City Group of Hospitals (MCGH), invites applications from energetic and motivated candidates for the position of Senior Consultant Specialist in Hematology on a contract basis (2 to 3 years).

POSITION DETAILS

Designation: Senior Consultant Specialist – Hematology

Number of Posts: 1 (ONE)

Contract Duration: 2 (years), Shall be renewed based on performance.

Salary & Allowances:

• Basic Salary: MVR 32,590

• Service Allowance: MVR 10,200

• Accommodation Allowance: MVR 15,000

• Food Allowance: MVR 2,400

ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in Hematology or relevant specialty (minimum 3-year program)

• Minimum 1-year post-Master’s clinical experience as a specialist

• MBBS degree recognized by the Maldives Medical and Dental Council (MMDC)

• Completion of 12 months internship after MBBS

• Permanent basic registration from the candidate’s local Medical Council

• Age: Preferably below 50 years

• Able to join within a maximum of 60 days after selection and receipt of job offer letter.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

• Qualification certificates (MBBS & Specialization)

• Transcripts and mark sheets (MBBS & Specialization)

• Basic registration certificates (MBBS & Specialization)

• Internship completion certificate (12 months)

• Experience letters (recent letters must be within 3 months)

• IELTS / TOEFL / Secondary examination results

• Certificate of Good Standing (no gap exceeding 3 months from issue date)

• Curriculum Vitae (CV)

• Passport copy (minimum 12 months validity)

• Police Clearance Certificate (minimum 3 months validity)

• Scanned color passport-size photograph

• Completed Pre-registration Form

If a valid Certificate of Good Standing is unavailable, please attach the submission receipt for the request.

INTERVIEW

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed online via Microsoft Teams or Zoom Call.

SHORTLISTING & SELECTION

• Shortlisting will be based on educational qualifications and work experience.

• Final selection will be based on combined scores from shortlisting criteria and interview performance.

• Able to join or report to work within a maximum of 60 (sixty) days after selection and receipt of job offer letter. If unable to join without an explanation / acceptable written reason offer shall be cancelled and provided to the next high scored candidate.
