Assistant Landscape Architect

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT
• Bachelors in Architecture, Interior Design or a relevant field.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a relevant field.
• Experience will be considered only upon submission of an official reference letter explicitly stating the duration of employment

OVERALL SCOPE
Supports the planning, design, and implementation of landscape projects through site analysis, preparation of drawings, coordination with project teams, supervision of site works, plant selection, and preparation of technical documentation to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery.

SCOPE OF WORK
• Assist in site analysis, surveys, and data collection for landscape projects.
• Prepare concept, detailed, and as-built landscape drawings.
• Support in plant selection, softscape and hardscape detailing.
• Prepare and submit design details, quantities, and specifications required for cost estimation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and relevant authorities.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor landscape works for quality and compliance.
• Assist in project documentation, technical reports, and authority submissions.
• Support supervision of planting, irrigation, lighting, and outdoor furniture installation.
• Ensure designs comply with environmental standards, safety guidelines, and project specifications.
• Assist in maintenance planning and post-installation inspections.

JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
• Understanding of hardscape materials, construction techniques, and detailing.
• Proficiency in landscape design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, or similar)
• Basic report writing and documentation skills.
• Good knowledge of sustainable and environmentally sensitive design practices.
• Strong coordination and communication skills for teamwork with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Should be well organized, details oriented, forward thinking and proactive.
• Should be able to priorities tasks and manage one's own time effectively.

SALARY PACKAGE
Gross Salary of MVR 19,000.00 to MVR 22,000.00 based of qualification and experience.
