INVITATION FOR TENDER

MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY RENOVATION AT K.GURAIDHOO

State Trading Organization Plc. (STO) invites registered parties in the Maldives, the opportunity to submit the proposals for the works of renovating the mental health facility in K. Guraidhoo.

1.       Scope of Service Required

1.1.    Renovation works of K. Guraidhoo Mental Health Facility includes the following scope of work:

1.1.1. Demolition of existing walls

1.1.2. Installation of kitchen sinks

1.1.3. Installation of fixtures and replacement of tiles in toilets

1.1.4. Window panel works

1.1.5. Custom fabrication of wardrobe cupboards

1.1.6. Canopy installation

1.1.7. Implementing automated electrical system

1.1.8. Pest control treatment

1.1.9. Civil work and building renovation work

2.       The Eligible Tenderers are limited to:

2.1   The applicant must provide evidence of having successfully completed at least one similar nature project (Civil or construction works) not less than MVR 500,000 within the past five years.

2.2   Reference letters submitted to STO must be issued by companies that are not blacklisted by STO and do not have any outstanding financial issues with STO. STO reserves the right to reject reference letters issued by companies that have these aforementioned issues.

2.3   If STO ascertains that the reference letters are forged or fabricated for work not actually performed, STO reserves the right, under this announcement, to deny registration to that party.

2.4   The applicant must not be a Blacklisted / Default/ Legal Customer of State Trading Organization Plc. or any subsidiaries of State Trading Organization Plc.

2.5   The applicant must not be blacklisted or debarred by the Ministry of Finance and must not have any unresolved issues with the Ministry of Economic Development or MIRA.

2.6   If STO confirms that a party registering is blacklisted by STO, or is affiliated with a blacklisted party, STO reserves the right to deny registration to that party.

 3.       Eligibility of the proponent will be validated by:

3.1   Reference letter/work completion certificates or any documentation in the name of Companies/Government Entities/Institutions/Commission etc. (any legal or government entity) for successful completion of at least one similar nature of project involving Civil or Construction works.

4.       Required documents for registration:

4.1   Company certificates (Registration certificate, Memorandum of association, Articles of association, Business information sheet, Bank details, Identity card of business shareholders, MIRA TAX clearance report and registration certificate).

4.2   Work completion letters / Reference letters
