Position: Airport Hand

Location Muli Airport (MUM)

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Completed O’ Levels with a minimum of three (3) passes (C grade & above)

OR

• Basic literacy with a minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience

Additional Requirement:

• Must be 18 years of age or above

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for collecting, sorting, and checking luggage against flight lists to ensure that the right items go on the right aircraft.
2. Transfer luggage from check-in areas to departure areas.
3. Move luggage to and from the aircraft and load inbound luggage onto conveyors in the arrivals area.
4. Transport goods, equipment, employees, and—during adverse weather—passengers between terminal and aircraft.
5. Empty all dustbins allocated to different areas of the airport daily. 
6. Clean and maintain vehicle, drive / operate according to transport regulations of Maldives.
7. Perform grass cutting and ground maintenance in runway and surrounding airport areas.
8. Conduct daily checks on vehicle lubricant levels and overall condition.

Salary and Additional Benefits

Basic Salary: MVR 6,500.00

Daily Allowance: MVR 150.00 per day attended

Required No. 05

Location . Muli Airport (MUM)

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Completed O’ Levels with a minimum of three (3) passes (C grade & above)

OR

• Basic literacy with a minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience

Additional Requirement:

• Must be 18 years of age or above

Responsibilities

1. Perform routine patrols to detect and deter suspicious activities or individuals within the airport premises.
2. Monitor and report potential violations of airport security policies to supervisors or managers for prompt action.
3. React swiftly and appropriately to emergency situations, ensuring the safety and security of all personnel and passengers.
4. Address all safety hotline calls promptly and effectively, coordinating necessary responses to reported concerns.
5. Help in transporting heavy luggage when required, ensuring efficient and safe handling.
6. Prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing restricted areas, maintaining airport security protocols.
7. Inspect all vehicles entering air operation areas to ensure compliance with security regulations.
8. Observe travelers and staff for unusual or suspicious behavior, reporting any concerns to the supervisor or manager.
9. Identify, question, and direct individuals exhibiting suspicious behavior to supervisors or managers for further evaluation.
10. Coordinate with other airport staff in upholding security operations

Salary and Additional Benefits

Basic Salary: MVR 6,500.00

Daily Allowance: MVR 150.00 per day attended
