Assistant EMP Engineer
Facilities Management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering with 2 years’ experience in a relevant field.
• Preference will be given to candidates with Professional certification / training in MEP systems or Building Services Engineering.
OVERALL SCOPE
Responsible for planning, designing, and managing MEP systems to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operation across all facilities and projects.
SCOPE OF WORK
• Plan, design, and coordinate all electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems for facilities and projects.
• Oversee execution of MEP works from design and procurement through installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure all MEP installations and maintenance activities meet technical specifications, safety standards, and operational requirements.
• Review and manage MEP system performance to ensure efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective operation.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and compliance checks for quality assurance.
• Diagnose system issues and provide technical solutions to maintain optimal functionality.
• Support and enhance preventive maintenance programs for building services.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams for seamless project execution.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and drawings related to MEP systems.
• Assist in project planning, budgeting, and procurement of MEP materials and equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of overall building services performance.
JOB SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS
• Strong understanding of MEP system design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and relevant engineering design tools.
• Knowledge of international standards and local building codes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
• Effective project management and documentation capabilities.
SALARY PACKAGE
Gross Salary of MVR 19,000.00 to MVR 23,500.00 based of qualification and experience.
