INVITATION FOR TENDER
HIRING A PARTY TO CONDUCT THE CIVIL WORKS FOR THE X-RAY ROOM
State Trading Organization Plc. (STO) is pleased to offer registered parties in Maldives, the opportunity to submit proposals for carrying out the civil works for the X-Ray rooms at ADH. Maamigili.
1. Scope of Service Required
1.1 Carrying out the civil works for the X-Ray rooms at ADH. Maamigili, including
1.1.1 Demolition of existing doors, windows & wash basin setup.
1.1.2 Construction of new 8” RC walls.
1.1.3 Installation of new doors & windows (Lead lined steel / glass & Aluminium / normal glass).
1.1.3.1 For leaded door / window Lead sheet & glass will be provided by STO.
1.1.4 Putty & Painting works.
1.1.5 Relocation of existing AC units.
1.1.6 Wiring & Installation of lights, sockets switches.
1.1.7 Design & installation of new electric panel boards as per provided design specifications & requirements of utility regulatory authority (Fenaka or STELCO) of that island.
1.1.7.1 1 x Main panel for X-ray room.
1.1.7.2 1 x Subpanel for X-ray machine.
1.1.8 Including connection to Hospital main panel & from X-ray room main panel to a subpanel (for X-ray machine).
2. The Eligible Tenderers are limited to:
2.1 The applicant must provide evidence of at least one similar project (Civil Works , Construction works) of value MVR 250,000 within the past five years.
2.2 Reference letters submitted to STO must be issued by companies that are not blacklisted by STO and do not have any outstanding financial issues with STO. STO reserves the right to reject reference letters issued by companies that have these aforementioned issues.
2.3 If STO ascertains that the reference letters are forged or fabricated for work not actually performed, STO reserves the right, under this announcement, to deny registration to that party.
2.4 The applicant must not be a Blacklisted / Default/ Legal Customer of State Trading Organization Plc. or any subsidiaries of State Trading Organization Plc.
2.5 The applicant must not be blacklisted or debarred by the Ministry of Finance and must not have any unresolved issues with the Ministry of Economic Development or MIRA.
2.6 Under this announcement, if STO confirms that a party registering is blacklisted by STO, or is affiliated with a blacklisted party, STO reserves the right to deny registration to that party.
3. Eligibility of the proponent will be validated by:
3.1 Reference letter/work completion certificates or any documentation in the name of Companies/Government Entities/Institutions/Commission etc. (any legal or government entity) for successful completion of at least one similar nature of project involving construction works.
3.2 Reference letter/work completion certificates provided must be accompanied by a Project Data as in Annexure I - Project Data Sheet.
3.3 Completed works should include majority of the scope of works stated in Scope of Service Required.
4. Required documents for registration:
4.1 Company certificates (Registration certificate, Memorandum of association, Articles of association, Business information sheet, Bank details, Identity card of business shareholders, MIRA TAX clearance report and registration certificate).
