INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Background

Housing Development Finance Corporation Plc invites proposals from all reputable and licensed Health Insurance providers operating in the Maldives to submit their proposals for the calendar year 2026.

Scope of Cover

The proposed insurance scheme shall cover all  permanent employees of HDFC, and their dependents (Spouses, Children, and Parents) who opt to be enrolled.

Eligibility Criteria

Expression of Interest (EOI) will be considered only from the parties that meet the following criteria:

• Possession of a valid License to operate as a health insurance provider in the Maldives.
• Demonstrated experience in providing health insurance services to institutions of similar nature within the Maldives.

Evaluation Method

• Proposals will be evaluated based on comprehensive assessment of quality, benefits offered, and cost-effectiveness.

Submission Requirements

Interested parties must submit:

• An expression of Interest
• A detailed proposal that meets the eligibility criteria

Submission Deadline: All submissions must be received on or before November 16, 2025, 14:00 hrs.
