INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS

Seeking catering  services to setup a food stall at a Public Engagement Event in celebration of the 2025 World Ozone Day

The Government of the Republic of Maldives, through the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, has established the National Ozone Unit to implement the Montreal Protocol, with a focus on protecting the Earth’s ozone Layer

To mark 2025 International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer  and the 40th Anniversary of the Vienna Convention, the Unit is organizing a public engagement event to raise awareness about the importance of the Ozone Layer, educating potential changes under international agreements aimed at protecting the ozone layer, including what individuals can do to comply with these changes. The event will feature interactive stalls, climate-friendly initiatives, and a interactive Laser Wall.

As part of the event, food stalls have been allocated, each measuring 10 x 10 feet. The Ministry invites food vendors to participate and operate these stalls. Vendors will be authorized to sell their products directly to attendees, manage their own sales, and are required to adopt environmentally sustainable practices while complying with the guidelines specified in the attached Information Sheet. The venue, date, and time of the event are detailed in the Information Sheet.

Interested parties who wish to manage a food stall are invited to submit their proposals along with all required details and documentation as outlined in the Information Sheet.

The Information Sheet can be downloaded with this announcement or accessed through the Ministry of Tourism and Environment website: https://www.environment.gov.mv/v2/en/.

Intrested parties shall submit their proposal before Monday, 01st September 2025 at 12:00hrs. For clarifications, please email [email protected] or contact 3018368 / 3018367.
