INVITATION FOR BIDS

The Government of Republic of Maldives represented by Ministry of Tourism and Environment has received financing from Global Environment Facility (GEF) towards the implementation of the project “Implementing Sustainable Low and non-chemical Development in SIDS – Maldives (ISLANDS)” and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the “Consultancy service for the Techno-Economic Feasibility Assessment of Hazardous Waste Interim Facility at R.Vandhoo”. The Ministry now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for this project.

A complete set of the bidding documents and related documentation is available on the Ministry of Tourism and Environment’s website www.environment.gov.mv for downloading. It is also attached with this advertisement.

Bid Validity and Bid Opening

Bids shall be valid for a period of 120 calendar days from the date of bid opening and shall be submitted to the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, before 10:00 AM Maldivian Time on 19^th August 2025. Late bids will be rejected.

The bids will be opened at 10:05AM on 19^th August 2025 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives, who wish to attend the bid opening.

Bid Clarification

Any clarifications to the bid may be sent to  below given mail address on or before 12^th August 2025, at 1200 hours. Answers will be provided to all the queries received before the deadline and will be made available via the Ministry website (www.environment.gov.mv) on 13^th August 2025.
