MINISTRY OF TOURISM AND ENVIRONMENT -MALDIVES CLEAN ENVIRONMENT PROJECT

Individual Consultancy Services:  To Develop Island Waste Management Plans in zone 2, 4 & 5 islands

Request for Expressions of Interest

The Government of the Republic of Maldives has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives Clean Environment Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the services; To Develop Island Waste Management Plans in zone 2, 4 & 5 islands.

Qualification and Experience required to be eligible for consideration for this Consultancy assignment, is specified in the clause (E), selection criteria are specified in the clause (H) of the attached Terms of reference.

The procurement process for this assignment will adhere to the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers," using the approved selection method for hiring Individual Consultants. Therefore, only Individual consultants are eligible to submit Proposal for this assignment.

The Ministry of Tourism and Environment thereby, invites interested individuals, who meet the requirements specified in the TORs to submit the following;

• Letter of Expression of Interest (EOI)
• An updated CV that demonstrates that the applicant is qualified to perform the services (including description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills etc.) In preparing the CV the consultant shall consider the evaluation criteria and provide the information and supporting evidence required to evaluate the qualification and experience demonstrated in the CV
• Attested copies of Educational Certificates (copies taken from accredited original certificates)
• Reference Letters / Certificate of Completion for similar and relevant assignments/projects to support the contents of the CV. (obtained from the clients)
• Copy of National Identification Card

Consultants who meet the minimum selection criteria will be shortlisted and invited for an interview.

Terms and References (TOR) is will be available to download in the gazette along with this invitation.
