The Government of Maldives has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives; Atolls Education Development Project (AEDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) includes, Training Centre/Institute to Provide Career Guidance Counseling Training for Teachers, the assignment is to be for 01 year.
The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be obtained at the address given below.
The Ministry of Education now invites eligible consulting Training Centre/Institute (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Centre/Institute should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are:
Interested consultancy Centre/Institute should submit following documents (Centre/Institute qualifications):
1) Letter of expression of interest.
2) A detailed organizational profile of the centre/institute (3 -6 pages)
3) A valid legal registration
4) CVs of the proposed team members
5) Documents of evidence that the training centre/institute has at least 3 years of continuous hands-on experience in career guidance counseling training, with in the last 5 years.
6) Documents of evidence that the training centre/institute has professional experience and a reputable track record of training services
7) Have trainers/tutors with experience and adequate professional training in the field, (trainers/tutors must have at least one year of teaching experience in a related field).
Technical and Financial information will not be evaluated at the Centre/Institute shortlisting stage.
The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
Consultants may associate with other Centre/Institute to enhance their qualifications but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a joint venture and/or a sub-consultancy. In the case of a joint venture, all the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected.
A Consultant will be selected in accordance with the Consultant’s Qualification-Based Selection (CQS) method set out in the Procurement Regulations.
