REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

CONSULTING SERVICES – INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANTS

1. The Government of Maldives has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maldives; Atolls Education Development Project (AEDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
2. The consulting services (“the Services”) includes all the tasks related to the Vocational Education Consultancy. The assignment is to be for 12 months duration.
3. The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be obtained at the address given below.
4. The Ministry of Education now invites eligible individual consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The selection criteria are:

• Must have at least a Postgraduate Diploma or equivalent in vocational education or in the field of disciplines related to vocational education.
• At least 3 years of training experience in the field of VE.

1. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. 
2. A Consultant will be selected based on the EOI submitted and after interview process.

4. Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below (by e-mail/post) by 16th February 2023 (Thursday) 1300 hours (local time).
