The Government of Maldives has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the
Maldives; Atolls Education Development Project (AEDP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for
consulting services.
The consulting services (“the Services”) include all the tasks including advising and/or implementing
all related activities in the project component and monitor the environmental and social safeguards
management of the Project and ensure that it is carried out in compliance with prevailing
environmental laws and regulations of World Bank and Government of Maldives. The assignment is
to be for 06 months duration. The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment are attached
to this advertisement.
The Ministry of Education now invites eligible individual consultants (“Consultants”) to indicate their
interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that
they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.
The selection of consultants under this consultancy would be in accordance with the World Bank’s
“Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth
the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

Expressions of Interest (EoI) need to be submitted along with the following:
- Curriculum vitae
- Documents supporting the candidate’s qualifications
- Documents supporting the candidate’s experience
- Copy of ID card
Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below (by e-mail/post) by 24th January 2023 (Tuesday) at 1000 hours (local time).
